Dear Disciples,

My name is Dr. Treal Ravenel and I am the Founder and Visionary behind Wives Who Win® LLC and When Wives Pray™. I am also the Co-Founder of Be Ye Transformed Networks. Through each of these avenues, I help women to establish and maintain healthy, meaningful, and Godly relationships with the people they love.

At the age of 19 years old, my relationship with Daddy God began and I recall how I spent hours in God's presence every day praying and worshipping him. I didn't understand discipleship and that came a few years later when one of my eldest sister (unbeknownst to her at the time) begin to disciple me. That changed the course of my walk and relationship with the father. A few years later, I partnered with my youngest sister and she and I started on our journey together in discipleing others for Jesus.

We truly did not understand the significance of what we were doing only that we were called to a greater purpose and that Discipleship was the vehicle to be used to reach others. Every follower of Christ is called to be a Disciple of Jesus whether you know it or not. We don't just get saved to play dress up and go to church. We have a responsibility to go to the nations.

Unfortunately, many churches are not equipped to train members to be disciples and many go to church week after week to simply hear a good message but left unequipped spiritually. In 2016, I launched Wives Who Win LLC and the foundation of WWW is Discipleship. God is pivoting me to now expand to the family unit and opening the doors for all to be equipped as Disciples.

I am excited about this retreat because of the LIVE demonstration of discipleship that will take place over the course of a weekend.

Discipleship Works! I Have Proof! Here Is My Story... 

I got saved at the age of 19, but I wasn't introduced to discipleship until later. It was my eldest sister who played a pivotal role in this journey. After giving her life to the Lord, she came alongside me and my other sisters to support us. She dedicated time to prayer, studied the word of God with us, taught us how to worship, and guided us on how to truly be disciples of Jesus. Most importantly, she showed us how to walk with the Lord and live a set-apart, consecrated life. She shared that this journey can sometimes feel isolating, but it’s all worth it because our ultimate goal is not to seek acceptance or fit into circles but to advance the Kingdom of God. We learned to activate and exemplify the fruit of the Spirit and to be at peace with our decision to follow Christ, even when it came at a cost. We understood the true cost of discipleship, and we knew it was worth every sacrifice.

Throughout this journey, I discovered that my purpose in God was intricately tied to discipleship. The more I learned to walk in my role as a disciple, the more I fulfilled my purpose. Many people today are confused about their purpose or are operating outside of it because they lack the understanding of what it means to be a disciple. Often, churches don’t cover discipleship in their Sunday messages or Bible studies. Instead of being equipped to fulfill the Great Commission, many are taught how to be prosperous and live a comfortable life.

It’s time to return to the root of our ultimate purpose as Christ followers: to be disciples of Jesus Christ so that our true purpose can be fulfilled.
